\nThey all will vanish inside the age\u2019s fire.
\nBut God measures the heart,
\nMan\u2019s inmost part.
\nThe place where good and evil always start,
\nGod measures the heart,
\nHe lights up its dark.
\nWe try to hide it, but His eye has found its mark,
\nHe takes the hardest heart, and holds it in His hand,
\nHe sanctifies and purifies, and makes a brand new man.
\nThe Love inside His eternal heart can beat within our chest,
\nHe can fill the empty void inside and our weary hearts find rest.<\/p>\n
We measure our days, measure our weight,
\nCompare it to others to determine our fate.
\nIs it a good life when sized up to our peers?
\nCan we measure our joy, can we measure our tears?
\nWhen eternity\u2019s our future, and infinity\u2019s our rule,
\nOur heart in God\u2019s Hand is the measureless jewel.
\nBut God measures the heart,
\nMan\u2019s inmost part.
