God has a plan though we don’t always understand,
He’s perfect every day, pure perfection in all His ways.
And we can rest in faith on His mercy and His grace.
His peace He gives to those who trust in what He knows.
God has a plan for every child, woman and man,
It’s for our good, but we must hold to it as we should.
And one day we’ll be finally shown what God Almighty always known.
This plan we’ll understand when we get home.
God has a course for everyone, but He doesn’t, will not force,
He watches day to day as we tend to roam and stray.
But its destiny’s the same for all who love His Name,
It’s Him where we belong, and our troubles make us strong.
God has a plan for every child, woman and man,
It’s for our good, but we must hold to it as we should.
And one day we’ll be finally shown what God Almighty always known.
This plan we’ll understand when we get home.
A mystery now concealing,
But soon to be revealing,
Before time began,
He had this plan,
It’s perfect as our orbit round the sun,
As we keep our faith it surely will be done.
God had a plan for His Holy Son the perfect Man,
Though it didn’t seem the best as He put His Son to awful test.
Yes, He knew His pain all along would bring us to where we belong,
And this cross that made no sense to men,
Would be the very plan to erase our sin.
God has a plan for every child, woman and man,
It’s for our good, but we must hold to it as we should.
And one day we’ll be finally shown what God Almighty always known.
This plan we’ll understand when we get home.
Tertius
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD,
“plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11
A note about “The Plan”: By looking at nature from the awesome majesty of the universe with stars a 1000 light years away to the legs of centipede, tiny insects whose legs move in perfect unison, we see the sublime engineering of God where everything works together in the most amazing choreography that fulfills God’s divine purpose. However, with troubles, trails and tribulations all around us, threatening to disrupt our lives at the least and destruct our lives at worst, we sometimes wonder if God does have a handle on it. He does have a purpose and a plan. Faith and trust will see us through to the great unveiling. Faith and trust and those alone in Him, not our limited vision and wisdom.
