Grace

The Grace of God it was a cross,
What a price this Grace did cost.
Grace for me, Grace for you,
This Grace was the best that God can do.
The Grace of God caused crimson stain,
This Grace caused His Son greatest pain.
This Grace hurts Father just like Son,
For sins of man, this Grace is shunned.
This Grace worth more than all world’s gold,
This Grace saved me from Satan’s hold.
The Grace of God gave me rebirth,
No Grace like this is found on earth.
Except the Grace His children share,
The Grace we give shows Him we care.
Grace is Love and Love is Grace,
Grace one day seen on Jesus’ face.
Grace that’s given free to all,
This Grace belongs to those who call.
On Savior Jesus the King of Grace,
Let His Grace into your inner place.
And in your heart may this Grace rule,
Who’d not want this Grace is biggest fool.
By Grace we’re saved, not by works,
When Grace is rejected Satan smirks.
Some folks think Grace is mealtime thanks,
But Grace won’t be held by earthly banks.
Amazing Grace is more than song,
The Sublime Grace erased my wrong.
This Grace is more than lifesaving hand,
This Grace, from hell saved this man.
I’ll praise God forever for His sweet Grace,
Grace with me now and in His Heavenly place.

Tertius

For it is by grace you have been saved,
through faith — and this is not from yourselves,
it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9

A note about “Grace”: Mercy and Grace are branches from the tree of God’s Love. I’ve been told mercy in not getting something bad that you deserve and grace is getting something good that you don’t deserve. In my time I’ve received way, way beyond my share of both in a very large way. Not surprising one of my favorite verses is what I call the jumbo verse. Luke 7:47
