MOUNTAIN TRANSPORT UNLIMITED

There’s a massive mountain Lord, tween my friend and thee, Lord,
Take that mountain, Lord, and throw it in the sea, Lord.
Many massive mountains, in our lives that be, Lord,
You move all massive mountains when we get down on our knee, Lord.
You make them, You move them, they tremble neath Your touch,
And we can move them too, when You, Lord, we do trust.

There’s a giant tree, Lord, that shades Your Light from men, Lord.
Take that giant tree, Lord, uproot it with mighty wind, Lord.
A forest of giant trees in our lives that be, Lord.
You pull them up by their roots when we get down on our knees, Lord.
You make them, You move them, they tremble neath Your touch,
And we can move them too, when You, Lord, we do trust.

Nothing is impossible for our God above,
Who can know His power or fathom His great Love.
Mountains are but pebbles and trees but blades of grass,
The future is as close to Him as the distant past.
Thank You God in heaven for the mountains You do move,
And we can move them too, when faith we choose to use.
Only God can move a mountain and prayer moves His hands,
His promises are faithful on them I’ll surely stand.

If you’re in the valley with a mountain in your way,
Get down on your knees and unto God do pray.
And He will put that mountain underneath your feet,
And the mountain once so fearful becomes a view so sweet.

Tertius

“Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain,
‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’
and does not doubt in their heart
but believes that what they say will happen,
it will be done for them.

Mark 11:23

He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed,
you can say to this mulberry tree,
‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’
and it will obey you.

Luke 17:6

A note about, “Mountain Transport Unlimited”: If my memory serves me right, I don’t believe I remember anywhere in the Gospels where Jesus picked up a mountain and threw it in the sea (Mark 11:23). But if we read Matthew 13:24 we get the idea that He was trying to convey. He wasn’t speaking in terms of literal mountains, although even this is possible for their Creator, but rather these monumental things in our lives that stand in the way of what is truly important, our relationship with God and others’ relationship with God. The temporal things of life sometimes block our view of the eternal, they are huge and by our vision, are immoveable. There is no problem or trouble bigger than God, do not underestimate His power (Genesis 1:1) or His Love (Romans 8:32) for you!
