The unforgiven stands before God’s awesome Holy throne,
No one to stand beside them, they’re naked and alone.
One minute they’re relaxing, having fun with several friends,
The next it all is over, their time on earth it ends.
“How can this be, I was not ready, I have much more to do,
I’ve people that have need of me; I can’t believe my life is through?
Now hold on, Lord, please don’t be sore, I’ve made a few bad choices,
But only cause of others, I shouldn’t have listened to their voices.
I’ve done good things and plenty too, you must remember those,
So forgive me for my sins right now and please give me some clothes.”
“Enough already you’ve said too much,” a voice came from the throne,
“Of salvation you weren’t ignorant; for many years you’ve known
That my Son was slain in greatest pain to redeem you from your sin.
But you ignored our calling and did not trust in Him.
Your sin is piled up to the sky, your good deeds are but dung,
Your day of mercy is over and the bell for you has rung.”
“What can I say, I planned one day”, I spoke in greatest fear,
“To Jesus come and to Him run by early of next year.”
The voice it sounded like thunder as I fell upon the ground,
I knew there was no hiding from His face or from the sound.
“Depart from me you cursed one,” this message seemed unreal,
I knew that it was final, no chance for an appeal.
Why I didn’t receive God’s Love before it was too late,
Now I’m headed towards the gates of hell unto the land of hate.
Oh someone tell my family before they end up here,
For they will surely follow me, it is my awful fear.
This all has come so quickly, I thought my life much longer,
My life was fragile, now I know, I imagined it much stronger.
When Satan put his claws in me I made a terrible scream,
And when he spoke, is when I awoke from this nightmare of a dream.
No horror that I’ve ever known has yet come close to this,
Upon my worst enemy this hell I would not wish.
Now God He has the greatest Love, but He is also just.
But now’s the time to seek His grace and in His Son’s blood trust.
Do not be deceived my friend, for God you cannot mock,
And only Him and Him alone knows the time upon your clock.
Tertius
Then he will say to those on his left, “Depart from me, you who are cursed,
into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.”
Matthew 25:41
It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

A note about “Mercy Ends Justice Begins”: Fiction from my pen, but reality for millions. One of Satan’s greatest lies is that our days on earth are without limit. As we grow old this seems to get thinner but by that time the tough layer of “sin” around our heart has gotten thicker and it is almost impossible for any good thing to find its way in. So you may ask as did Jesus’ disciples, “Who then can be saved?” Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:25-26. Do not forget that prayer moves God’s hands and in His hands the hardest heart can be like putty. My prayer is that this one will turn many hearts toward Him who Loves them all.
