From my barred window I see barbed wire,
And steel, beyond which are beautiful
Mountains, so close and surreal.
All around the prison are God’s wonderful
Creations, all at which are my distant view
That I’ll see for the duration.
I hope to witness with young lives when
I’m free, because this prison journey began
At 27 and will end at 53.
Our God loves us all with only one small
Condition, believe in Him and Heaven is our
Eternal intention.
