What a beautiful, wonderful sight to behold,
The One who has fashioned our body and soul.
Has written a letter, a message of Love,
It came down to earth from heaven above.
Written on pages of paper and ink,
If you will but read it, it will make you think.
Its message will enter your heart and your soul,
And the Love of our Savior before you unfolds.
The story of Jesus, God’s Love made alive,
When sin it would win, with it we survive.
Nothing is better, nothing more grand
Than the Word of our God and His Salvation plan.
Hide it within the depths of your heart,
Eternity waits and it takes a mere spark
To light up your soul, to light up the world,
As you turn the pages, God’s Love it unfurls.
One thing I ask, one thing I plead,
The Word will bring life so may you every day read.
