Passed on down from ancient ages.
Words of wisdom, words of truth,
If you seek God then here’s your proof.
His Son foretold generations before,
His birth upon a stable floor.
His death described in great detail,
Long before His hands were nailed.
Who can know the future’s plan,
And every step of every man?
The Writer of this Holy Book,
Come inside, come take a look.
There’s peace and joy for you, my friend,
And life with God that never ends.
It tells of mercy, it tells of grace,
For all who open their hearts in faith.
How can mere words save one’s soul
And turn a life of sin to gold?
I testify, I know firsthand,
For God has blessed this broken man.
His Spirit, His Word, I know are true,
For God Loves me, and God loves you.
