Happy Father’s Day

On Father’s Day we honor Him,
Who loves us more than our best friend.
He watched us grow up from a child,
Felt our pains, all the while.
He holds our hands with strongest grip,
He carries us when our feet do slip.
He Loves us tender with mercy mild,
He knows our troubles, knows our trials.
Thank Him, bless Him, all you may,
Don’t wait till tomorrow, today’s the day.
He Loves you complete, body and soul,
His Love is better than silver and gold.
Return His Love if only in part,
But do it from within your heart.
Don’t bring Him gifts of earthly treasure,
He owns it all and all without measure.
Bring Him thanks and bring Him praise,
Our Father, our glass to thee we raise.
Your Love you gave with no set bounds,
We were lost, but now we’re found.
He sent His Son whom by His blood,
Cleansed our sins neath its flood.
Heavenly Father we love you so,
Your love for us we’ll fully know.

Tertius

For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face.
Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
1 Corinthians 13:12

A note about “Happy Father’s Day”: Starts off sounding like a card off the rack, but it soon reveals the object of our affection. By the way it must be sent by knee-mail.
